Supporting Survivors of Abuse

New Mexico is on the verge of a domestic abuse crisis. Fully 1 in 3 women in the state has been the victim of domestic violence, and close to 7,000 children per year are witnesses to abuse. Worst of all, 60% of these crimes go unreported.

The Berger Agency is leading a local campaign to eradicate domestic violence in the Rio Rancho community. “Our agency believes that violence is never an appropriate solution, and we are using a referral and rewards program to build a network of support for survivors of domestic abuse,” said agency CEO and owner Jalene Berger.
