Did you know that Alzheimer’s 6th leading cause of death in the United States? An estimated 5.8 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer’s. An estimated 5.8 million Americans of all ages are living with Alzheimer’s dementia in 2019. This number includes an estimated 5.6 million people age 65 and older and approximately 200,000 individuals under age 65 who have younger-onset Alzheimer’s. Here at The Berger Agency, we are on a mission to raise awareness about this debilitating disease that has touched the lives of so many of us. Alzheimer’s does not only impact the individuals diagnosed, but it also has an adversely affect on the patient’s families particularly those who assume the role of caregiver.
